Small bridge of Brooklynn,
I like the margarine,
I like hot dogs,
Harlem is going to dance
on white powders,
42nd street, delirious,
Do you want some ? do you want some ?
The yellow taxis
Spread the pedestrians,
34th street, what do you say ?
What do you say ?
The Empire State Building
wants to dominate the game,
I am going to rest in Central Park,
That of soft poisons,
We are high buildings,
We raise ourselves
as a single business,
In the bay of apples,
The statue of Liberty,
welcomes the autumn
with its green oxides...

I especially liked the talking buildings and, also, thank you for the small tour with all its tastes, sounds, and visuals. Enjoyed!

I enjoyed your poem, Yann.  I am not going to pretend that it is a favourite of mine, though it is so obviously very well written (and I know you won't be offended because there are so many, many of your poems that I have really, really loved - especially your poems about nature) as concrete jungles normally leave me cold, though your poem certainly makes this slice of New York an interesting flash vision for me - like a quick, vibrant scene in a movie.
