Fair to middlin' of nowhere

Spring lingers laden under late snow fall
Baffled buds burnish beneath the freeze
Dirt drinks deep drips of seeping sun
Robbins bob between tufts of green

Ah, yes, yes, yes! Perfect poetry about the juxtaposition of winter's chill and spring's thaw. Love it, Lori.

Don't you just love this time of year, LGB.  I know I do and your poetry captured all that I love.

hey Alison! Yes, I do love spring.  Here in Kansas this year the weather has been so wacky it can't seem to make up it's mind if it's done with winter or not. The winter was so mild we had trees budding out a month ago and 3 inches of snow last week!
Kansas,we're nothin' but wheat and weather.
