Don't let us wait too long

Now is the time, the rosewater
seeps through the cloud covers, its
fragrant elixir courting the green
that has yet to attach to the meadow

out yonder, there where the fruit begins
a saccahrine reverie hangs on the
cliff's edge, the waterfall longing
to break through the deafness effect

just this, for now

the writing, abbreviated, while
only the piper knows
that where the tune plays
the heart soon will follow

I really love this...every line drew me in like the tides...and love the ending too.
Enjoyed Emma...

Okay . . . Poetry doesn't get better than . . .
quote:
out yonder, there where the fruit begins
a saccahrine reverie still hangs on the
edge of the cliff, the waterfall longing
to break through the deafness effect

The quote is the ones I liked best, but the whole poem, line for line, was astounding.
