The white whale
golden fleece of the sea
we follerd her
to perdition and back
because we must
lost souls on a quest
for the holy grail
only to be swallowed whole
taken down then spit out
onto a land that
never knew the names
of this brave crew
where they buried our bones
none too deep
waiting for the hungry dogs
to dig em up
and hide em away again
forever out of God's sight.

. . . and therein lies the tale untold . . . until this traveling troubadour . . . sang it to the world . . .
