he stood in the depths of the swamp
life had forsaken him, nothing to live for
he felt a sloppy, wet kiss upon his mouth

she sat in her room, hands clasp in her lap
tears streaming down her face
an unshaven kiss touched her lips

he left the swamp smiling all the way
on the porch she rocked and waited

Ha! read the first Stanza and immediately thought it was going to be your dog!

Even without the dog ... was good my friend.

Extrasensory kissing is definitely a monumental step up from tweeting on Twitter! Enjoyed the sentiment!

I  often do that wistful thinking myself, Jerry

And as far as twitter, I don't  even know what  or how to use it...must be an age thing as I am slowly resenting newer technology.

Thanks ever so much for your input concerning my poem.

Gotta love a happy ending

I refuse to get caught up in the whole "twittery" thing... lost nothing there,
and not going too.
