Spring is aroused
by warm fingers
penetrating
her dark awaiting
Swelling with wetness
a bud erects
stretching toward
the growing heat
It sheds its sheath
and squirms into
the licking of light

My, my, Lori, what a wonderful poem you have given us in expectant of the coming spring. Deliciously inventive.

This is a beautiful and fresh spring bouquet, Lori.
