Can you be the one I'm after?
The one I'm longing for
To love in sickness and in health
Whether were rich or were poor

To hold on New Years Eve
And adore on Christmas day
The one I want to be around
Until the world fades away

Are you the one I'm after?
The love I need to hold
The warmth that keeps me near
Until our love grows old

Very sweet poem and I am sure that special someone will come along when you least expect it...

This piece didn't appear to be gender specific, other than the authors name, and I chose to ignore that so I could say . . .

Love from me never grows old, my friend!  Me, now that's a different sort bird!

j.

Wish you luck and as V. said ... it always comes...
