Anguish and life go hand in hand
If we were perfect
If we had nothing to suffer
There'd be no mending or repairing
No learning process
If we fall in love
Once, twice, thrice
We'd not remember our heartache
We'd make
The same mistakes over and over
Again

Its like having A baby...you scream and yell in pain and say never again but you turn around and have another baby ha.
Enjoyed Jerry.

Ah yes, you got that right, dear Jerry. And without suffering how would we distinguish joy? Yes we are all students on this planet Earth I guess. And most of us (probably all!) repeat and repeat the lessons before "getting it".

Thought provoking and wise.

I fear that many of us, Margherita, repeat and repeat the lessons and still never see the light for the clouds over their head. Makes me think of the character in the 'Lil Abner comic strip who had a dark raincloud following him around. Appreciate your input . . .

The reality of this is sad, but true, no escaping it if we are to truly experience life
