America! Goodbye! Goodbye!
Statue of Liberty farewell.
I'm so watching as you die,
Your corpse already has the smell.

Your breath grows weak each passing day,
And all we do is sit and watch.
As from within you do decay,
It's like you've been kicked in the crotch.

How can we stop this tidal wave,
Which is taking freedom from us?
Some tried to stop it, they were brave,
The rest, like me, wrote poems and cussed.

The evil has been too entrenched,
We've watched it for years, we're to blame.
While sitting here upon our bench,
A nation of cowards; for shame!

This is not my father's good earth,
Every day some new kind of fright.
Poisonous weeds is our re-birth,
This once proud land, Goodnight, Goodnight!

So sad but true! Those who do not know will always outnumber those who do know and so procreate disaster. I lived through Zimbabwe's slide into that pit and now the country of my birth is following suit. No country is exempt. The New World Order will eventually come about.
