Godspeed

passing shadows

I built a house there
upon a hill-
all my love's inside.

     I run around bare
     maybe you will
     come to reside.

I keep a light
and burn both ends
even in the snow.

    But you were right,
    we're not friends-
    with Godspeed, go.

Deeply poignant, dear Dixie. Love can do that indeed, it can let go those who don't want to stay.

And that little house you built continues to shine with love ... from your heart.
