Only later to be told
That it was you

I didn’t know
Having no idea
I would have stopped

You who made
The world go around
The good sun shine
The seasons change

Oh the years apart
Have done their work
Two total strangers
With darkened names

Sad how time can take away,even erase what was familiar.  "...darkened names" a profound way of stating it

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.
