Today I am happy!

I'm doing what I want to do,
after doing things that needed doing.
I am working on my workshop materials...

I am planning to be nervous in
anticipation, and grateful for the
experience of talking to kids
who are smarter than me.

I am told they are "beginning writers"
in poetry.
They are looking for comments, vision,
criticism.

I will spend more time planning their
next three weeks with once a week visits
then they will
in response.

I want to take a moment and thank all of you for enjoying these moments with me. Such a great time! Five truly unique individuals wanting as many diverse reasons to enjoy poetry as all of you have ever proven.

We all had an exceptional time! And, I am being asked back to contribute more.

Is there any better way to enjoy retirement?

Oh yeah...to travel to unchartered islands. Well, truth is....each new mind I encounter IS an unchartered island...and if I can plant a seed....

so be it!
