I alway loved this form of poetry finding such wisdom in such few lines to paint a picture a thousand times the length.

Wonderful, Victoria. You've said so much in so few letters, especially contrasted to the trap I made for myself.

Re. Haiku every time I try one, someone says I've missed the form badly. It seems I have no trouble with the syllable count, it's that requirement of that final line where I lose the ability to cope, it seems.

You've done superbly, methinks.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.
