He wrote his sleeve onto her chest
where the words had no idea
where they were going
or if they would ever leave

She touched the bottom of his hand
onto the kite ridden sky
the eve heading towards the night

The soft sigh of the rivers right hand
never night but rather glad
that the auburn sleeves of a woman's hair
could rest soft on the right side of his cheeks

A few miles away
The right side of her bedroom door
was slightly open
as the painting, a few inches away
on the walls beige face
sighed to the hallway
so the lower hallways could listen

She wore her neck onto
onto his broad chest
that was bare
shared along the crop fields of the west

Turning her eyes towards him
towards his mouth that seemed to
almost lye on its back

She was tired
but every body gets tired
and her breath cut along
the small scar down his cheek
from the small blade his brother
accidentally cut when they were
playing in the wild blueberry fields

The breaths of the bridge
resting just a few miles away from their home
could feel their long winded sighs
and right below
the damp lake felt a sudden calm
on the wrinkles of her cotton shirt
just inside the corner of his sly grin
against the bottom of her easy, calm voice
