* * *
You adore the smoothness
of tranquil blue waters,
the soft waves speak to you
with their alluring midnight voice
full of secret echoes and mysteries.

You made me glide in the waters
like a goddess of the ocean
calling for the spirits of the sea
to bask in the reflection of the stars
upon the silky silvery surface.

Spellbound by the wet embrace
that left no inch of skin untouched
I moaned my pleasure into the depth.
From afar came an answer, gentle
yet powerful in its huge vibrations.

The whale’s voice expanded within me,
binding me to the vastness of the waters
though rooted in the distant stars.
Ecstasy of peace, the destination.
Mutual devotion the way of Earth and Heaven.

When you lifted me out into your arms
we felt the blessings of the cosmic soul
trickling into us, reviving our essence
through the universal merging of All There Is.
Immutable glorious sounds of Life.

Powerful, yet sensitive verse to accept the rest of the poem and the love of the sea and the sea's depths and embrace. Excellent poetry, Margherita.

Yes... A mermaid indeed. What a lovely "water sign" poem.
