it was raining torrents
we stood there
notwithstanding
and she . . .
with her sweet tongue's effort
cleansed my past
put a voodoo charm on me
teased my blushing
with a silken moist trace
a ruffled whisper
and a kiss which bonds
like no other
caused my stalwart to falter
nearly giving way
her lips left my own
in a mad fluttering of need
touched, but unfulfilled
I shivered, reached for her fantastic
she was boldly outgoing
enfolded me inside her unusual
and kiss by tender kiss she fed me her adorable
I felt myself glowing
with delight and ecstasy
it made me incredibly complete
before I'd been empty
now I surrendered to the
emancipation of my passion
she brought me from then to now
sharing love in the midst of
a South Louisiana torrential rainstorm

On the edge, Jerry, but so delicately done!  Thank goodness for storms.

Good day, Helen. I know it was on the edge, but it just felt good writing it. Thank you for reading and commenting.

JL, thank you very much for your kind observation and comments. Sometimes poems more or less write themselves, this was one of those kind of efforts.

I like the way you write passion Jerry. Nicely done...you should write it more often. Very sensuous photo too.

Nice - to make an understatement...lol.

On the edge - yes; sensual - yes.
But we always live on the edge of life, whether we realize it or not...

And, what I really like is the juxtaposition of the external 'torrential storm' with the apparent internal one...haha.

The dynamics and the unpredictability of the storms...got to love them...

Hah! You've got that right, CG, we all live on the edge even though some of us would be appalled to find that out, and admit. Thank you for stopping by and visiting, I appreciate it very much.
