Happy Birthday Ever Dearest Friend

I'm sending sixty three degrees
To warm your birthday from this freeze
I'll wave a magic weather wand
From here to there and far beyond
But just in case the wand should sieze
I'll send as well a magic squeeze

(If all else fails, stay inside and break out the dolphin blanket.  I have it on good authority that it has magical warming powers.)

Ron, if I may be so bold
I have to say "You're getting old!"
The good die young, or so they say
You disproved that one all the way!

Thank you, dear friends.

I had a wonderful day, albeit a very cold one. After six days of not sticking my head out the front door I finally broke down and left the house for several hours. Had to replenish the larder. We've had a fair bit of lake effect snow this past week and some truly abysmal temperatures (Kit, I imagine you're facing much the same). Typical Michigan stuff, and my reaction to it has been typical Ron stuff. Winter sucks. (You can wipe that Florida grin off your face any time, Mike ... )

The good news is I think I now have enough food in the house to last 'til Spring?

Thanks again, it's always nice to come here and find a pleasant surprise like this.
