.

Somewhere
A door
Must have
Been left open

I have no idea
How you got in
This far

Standing there
In a corridor
To my rooms at home
In a long wool coat
A white knit cap on
Your short blond hair

There is
A flurry of activity
And mutual acting
As if this were
Not a miracle
And wholly unaware
Of what it portends

Oh you’ve been trouble
From the first moment
I met you

And now here you are
In a dream

This is so very vivid that I felt part of the dream, like watching a very good movie scene that brings emotion, even if no sounds are perceived.

Beautiful.

Ain't dat just the way it is sometimes. Dreams are worse. In real life you can beat a hasty retreat to sob your blues down your chin, but in the dreams they'll follow you everywhere.

A dream frozen in eternity. A haunting beauty.
