We pricked our index fingers and pressed them together while sitting on the steps of her front porch; Blood sisters we became. We were ten; And when we had our little spats Dianne put her little pinky around my little pinky, and everything was fine again. No words were needed, our little pinky's said it all. We are still friends after all these years. Still blood sisters still best friends, through thick and thin births and deaths, happiness and heartbreaks. When that day comes that day we both dread, that little drop of blood will still flow thru veins always to remember, our life together as blood sisters. |
