She had the roses right hand
where rebecca used to hide
that her neck had a small, light scar
from when she played with her brother
and scraped herself on the edge of the driveways end.

Time was often sound
but now had passed
where her shoulders had broadened
her breasts had softened
and her thighs often wondered
if the hands of a man
could posture themselves enough
so the light of the sun could focus on the sea
rather than the communion of their bodies

She often spoke into the night
on top of the hills where the starry night
blessed the cathedral, the university
that stood upright
so her thoughts often sided, collided
were beside her,
over-watching the sea
as alone to the fields as she was
she held the comfort of the stillness of her body
close to her vest
with her thoughts quietly changing notes
spelling each others quotes under her throat

Until she finally left
in the middle of the night
to another road
she could finally call home.

Disturbing undertones and overtones of extreme sadness and ultimate pain.  When its grip released me, Tomer, the tears flowed.

Very touching Tomer as I could feel the sadness in this one. Enjoyed your words.

Victoria-

Happy it resonated.  I enjoyed that stanza a lot, as well.  Hope you're well.
