Butterfly Garden

O beautiful butterfly,
flutter your wings
Your painted wings,
a fan dance of color;

Gentle brush strokes
and the abstraction
of Picasso,
and starry night wings,
of Vincent Van Gogh.

Flaunt your artistic fans
Madam Butterfly,
exotic fans
of seduction,
prancing proudly
in your operatic gown.

Chopsticks and cherry blossoms
adorned within the
bun of your hair;
Dancing within the breeze
of the bamboo trees
upon the stage
of a butterfly garden.

Until the final curtain,

whispers

"Sayonara,"

Capturing

beneath the Dagger of the glass.

i loved the comarisons with painting, this is so true that butterflies are living paintings, nicely done and so true, thanks for the enjoyable read,
