.

In this quiet
In the half dark
Not yet dawn

You’ve come again
Of your own volition
Nameless though I know you
However changing without form

Oh I have learned
To respect your silence
For its feeling
That most important presence
Focused by absent sound

And I turn within
A someone no one sees
Who only belongs to you

What did I do
To bring you so often
In these my latter years
To let me know you’re here

.

Sounds like you're haunted, but by what or whom? Nicely done.
