REINING IN
9  January 2013

Tears are my only answer
and forgiveness as you already know
and thanks for the last whispers
before my vacuum sets in.

This is strong, and brave...the final answer, then to move on.  No unfinished business.  I like this!

this made me sad

the dust of our memories should never be sucked into a bag, then just tossed away..

hoping your spirit is ever smiling my friend..

i dont like the thought of you, reigning in your ride when there is still more to see beyond the next hill..

Thank you, Juju.

Thanks, This Diamond, for the validation (for which I am more grateful than you can know) and understanding in both senses of the word.  It isn’t easy, but it is the only way for me.

Thank you, Richy, for your kindness and compassion.  My spirit doesn’t ever stop smiling for long.  I am tougher than I look.  However, no more rides for me, no matter what!  I am done.

Thanks, Kat – just like the dear little kitty cat that you are, small, but powerful.

Sorry to read of your pain!
Sounds like you were badly hurt.

Thank you for your kindness.

Have been going through some tough times lately, this just being one of my lesser problems, but I am trying to clench my teeth and grin through it all.

Martyjo, whilst, for your sake, I wish you weren’t in this bumper car - for my own selfish sake, it is good to share it with such a good friend and such a good person as you.  Yep, my mind and soul seem joined at the hip, which doesn’t always FEEL best, but you are right, it IS best.  I have never thought of it in those words, but I like the way you worded it, and will remember what you said.  It always helps (me anyway, though it seems not many others) to analyse a situation thoroughly, though, of course, the parts of others often seem unfathomable on one level or another, or yet another.  Thank you again for your wisdom and your kindness and may we both soon be out of the bumper car and on firm and beautiful soil again.

Love to you, too.

Owl,in my situation I see little changes being made. The last small note recieved was a smilely face just sitting there on the top of the page, so I think I will call it the end and put it all inside the little cranny in my mind and let it simmer. The boiling point shall not be reached on my end. LOL
P.S.I wish I could  put on wings and just fly over to your little swatch of heaven to sit and chat a spell. We have so much in comon. best, jo

Thank you, Liz.  You are right, but that new life will involve my wonderful son, my cat and dog who are my life, special friends, my work (which I love), and nature with which I have a very special infinity - but romance is out, over and gone - no more for me, thank you very much and I am absolutely fine with that.

Martyjo, I have often thought of how much you and I have in common, and I would absolutely love to sit and chat over a cup of tea or coffee or a glass of wine and wander through a nature reserve with you and show you the delights of South African wild life, large and small, animals and plants. Yep, boiling point is not worth it.  Hugs.
