Somewhere
In a lost hour
Under lambent stars
That faded long ago

A moon is passing
Over silent houses
Leafless trees
And vacant yards

No night bird sings
Or firefly waltzes
The evening air
Is cold and still

There you are
And I yet waiting

A tint of blue
On fallen snow
