I wish we could have sailed the seven seas,
the whispering winds of eternity.
but a wish, is just a wish;
lost within the red seaweed,
and pink orchids of the deep blue sea.

I dream of you each time I close my eyes
Tracing your image with my fingertips,
but a dream, is just a dream;
When the hand of an angel
brush paints a scene.

A brilliant star, in the sky
supernova bright,
but a star, is just a star;
My eyes to adore from afar.

You were my precious jewel
a fiery, blood-red ruby;
flowing within my heart,
but a jewel, is just a jewel;
A moment to treasure,
till the end of time.

I was a lustrous pearl,
but upon a strand of many.

good heavens Victoria where have i been to have missed this kind of poetry all these years, have you been away for some time?

My goodness what a wonderful talent you posess and i mean that in ever sincerity

this was simply exquisite and they just seem to keep getting even better, how is that possible

big, big appreciation for this piece my friend.. again, so looking forward to reading your art as the days roll by

I did change paintbrushes to brush paints though after you read it.

Oh dear I've fallen in love with your poetry Victoria. I loved each line, each word was a dream that I wish would never end. You have a wonderful way with words. Happy New Year!
