I just have the urge to write my thoughts down about this amazing woman I have met. I know it's not the greatest poem...but they are my thoughts

                   Knowing by
                 Nathan McCaskey

I sit here writing my thoughts
Can not hide this feeling any longer
I know it was fate the day we met
I can not and will not ever hold
These feelings back

Knowing after that very first kiss
I have found my true love
And can not take this
Any longer day after day
Sleepless nights are just no longer
Here to stay

For I would give anything for
Just another kiss
A long stare deep into your eyes
The soft touch of your skin

I know the day will come
When we wake to each other
Under a new sun

Knowing all this
Makes me happy

Knowing all these feelings
That burn deep inside
I will no longer be able to hide

That fate is soon to pay
And you will be mine
I long for that day

I hope it is soon
Because I am done
Searching for the one
I have found you

I want you
Need you
Forever and ever more

Still knowing all this
I am still sad
Because I wake up each day
Without you here

Knowing I long for
Your sweet kiss
Your soft embrace
Is a wish

Those amazing eyes
For which I desire
I get so weak in the knees
When I catch that glance

Knowing what just might be...

Please Diane take this journey with me
I know it is early
But I see so clearly

Knowing now

That we were meant to be....
