There's a fire inside
and the night is storming.
Our eyes meet and divert
sadly
we've forgotten how to dance
how to withstand the test of time.

...I stumble and fall
lost in the sparkle of shadows
as the lights dim
and my memory fades.
Tracing the lines of your grey temples
timidly
touching my mind
but the words won't come.

That heady feeling,
like tiny bubbles
rise to the occasion.
Reminds me
when I got lost in you
only to find myself,
wishing I were more savy
more in tune
more dressed for the occasion
that you might notice
the shade of blue.

Tear drops dangle
like diamonds
reflecting the light
beveled in the pane.
The long stemmed crystal flutes
are engraved with your name
and I am just dizzy enough
to search out your eyes
and feel the flutter.
Picking up the tempo
where my heart left off.

Well, if there truly ever were love letters written in the sand,
this would be the cause, and the cureā€¦
for the tiny bubbles, that is.

Love this Blues!!  A beauty.

Dear Bluesy - So romantic and beautiful.  Always such stunning writes from your pen and I always look forward to them.  They make me want to see beauty again instead of ... hmm? perhaps the truth.

Hope 2013 is happy and healthy for you.
