She use to cough when they had
their conversations below the august side
and the suns low turn
came before her blossom patterned skirt

Her long, swan like neck
felt like the long avenue
that he drove on
as he went to meet her
with a heavy heart
her legs came towards a heavy porch
a dock that touched the evening river

The shades of his hair on his knuckled hands
caromed around her neck
with such a soft light of her lips
on the back of his eyes
that he often wondered if she could
blend the nights plight
along a small girls tale

As the sunset broke
even if it was a rented memory
a split second,
his hands could never whither the shadows soft heart
but she quivered as he held her
for her shadow watched, quietly, unnerved
sitting under the front light porch
until she forgave his nervous skin
and brought him closer to the back end of her lips.

Wow!  Whew!  And more Wow!  You can't get anything more real than this!  I feel I know these two as well as anyone, their thoughts, their past, their painful future.  Beautiful!  I love it.

Hmmm this is so smoothe!  I love your graphics!! Your poetry literally comes alive and paints the coolest pictures.  Love the idea of a rented memory and the long avenue of her neckline.  Only you!!

You keep on writing and I'll keep on reading.

Best of the season to you, Tomer!
