Twenty children died last week,
Cut down by madman's gun.
The headlines screamed with horror
At the deed that had been done.

200 children died last week
By parent's right to choose
Lives snuffed out by a scalpel
But it didn't make the news.

Completely agree that noone does anything about "legal deaths" yet, 20 children who of course were alive, will make the news in an instant! Well put! Of course sympathy goes out to all those lives lost!

A true mirror of the "tragedy" of Man, and willing blindness,

a poem is a sigh
a melody of song
a musical lullaby

Poignantly written, my friend. It is ironic and sad indeed. A shame it has to be this way in society

is a song that rises from a bleeding
wound...or a smiling mouth"
