   Winter Woods

Take pause
from the ever
grasping world
  of man
(in a slice of
timeless wonder)
to become one
with the gentle
  twilight
and silent soul
of a starry evening
Winter forest,
and disturb Nature’s
boundless spirit
only with your
finest hopes and
  dreams!

Wow, like a prayer all souls should chant,

a poem is a sigh
a melody of song
a musical lullaby

Oops!  I have just said that Cusp of Eternity is my new favourite of yours - now I am not so sure!  As you can well imagine, I immersed myself in this one.

A poem to give much thought to indeed, the depth of the stars are nothing compared to the depth of the mind and heart...thank you for sharing

I simply love winter, I especailly love winter's night in the woods. It brings a warm smile to my cold face. It's always a delight to read your poetry. Happy New Year!
