Trees leaves paint their Autumn colors
Hey E O Hi E AH, Hey YO, Hey YA, Hey YO,
Native songs sing thanksgiving,
O, O, Hey Ya Ho, Hey Ya Ho, Hey E O Hi YaH,
Hey YO, Hey YA, Hey YO, Hey YA, Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiii….

Sun Father is blessing his children
With Indian Summer hazy skies
And plentiful harvest from Earth Mother
Who kisses wildflowers with sweet dew
Below Star Nation’s nightime jewels

Rivers hum the forest song of life
Wise Owl sleeps and brother Deer is calm
The Robin waits as Red Hawk soars
Beaver are busy and Buffalo’s wallow
Spirit of Cherokee dance with humble praise

Hey E O Hi E AH, Hey E O Hi E AH,
Hey YO, Hey YA, Hey YO, Hey YA, Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiii….
O, O, Hey Ya Ho, Hey Ya Ho, Hey E O Hi YaH,
Hey E O Hi YaH, Hey YO, Hey YA, Hey YO, Hey YA,
Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii…….

a poem is a sigh
a melody of song
a musical lullaby

Your personal quote is certainly fitting, just like a song!!
Love your poetic impression of nature.

This is a song...lyrics, and refrain..

Sometimes the spoken word will not suffice, and the voice must rise to stronger rythm.

I enjoyed singing this.
