What have I done? What have I done to you to hear such dissapointment in your voice

I breathe to apologize, yet my words that come out never seem to be the right choice

For I had become reckless, in a moment of jealousy that overcame my own

When there is no need for such thoughts in my mind
as I feel that I stand alone

However you remind me, you remind me once again of how you truely feel

As I take it in yet again,to remember that this is all so real

The moments that we are silent, are the ones that I regret

The moments that I look forward to, are the ones we haven't had yet

Love isn't easy, nor will it ever be, everyday is a new challenge that we have to overcome

That doesn't mean we have to give up on love, to look at the things we've achieved and done

For all those days that I have lived among fear, you were always there beside me, always near

So as we are no longer together in presence,
Yet always in dreams, voices, visions and essence

With each passing day, my thoughts drift to you,
As time refuses to stand still, what are we coming to

For every day left unspoken, is another wasted
When those are the days, we should've chased it

To ask the questions running through our mind
Gaining knowledge and trust with little time

For a love that I've always desired, yet never went looking for

For hope of one day to be your entirety and so much more

It was you that my heart belonged to, how could I have been so blind

My actions as it was said, was what stopped you, well not anymore, not this time

My heart is yours, so keep it and never let it go

To have an understanding of words, because you said so

Moving forward in our lives and never looking back

To the negativity which was received and communication which was lacked

Learning our lessons to never make the same mistakes

To be loved with such honor, our hearts in the right place

There is no need for us to pick up the pieces

When compassion is the only way we should be treated

For there is no such thing as perfect, however you are flawless for me

With only one life and one chance, to make the most of everything and what we could be

My hands that belong only to your touch, yourwhispers in my ear, that I've missed so much

Your eyes that I've always loved and adored, your lips upon mine, always craving more

As I sit here and wonder what came over me

Along came all those thoughts, in my moment of jealousy

As I smile to myself realizing that there was no such reason

For to have ever felt that way, none of it needed

My lesson learned being that I love you and you love me

I can now move on, from my moment of jealousy

I really enjoyed your words. You said so much. Jealousy is an ugly feeling we have all felt. But at the same time we dont want to be made out to be a fool, or taken for granted. Sometimes we have a moment of insecurity or a moment of insanity ha.

Thank you I'm glad you enjoyed it, a small poem that seemed to grow into my many thoughts that I was sure others could relate to as well.
