.

Having no home
Of our own
We sat in a car
By the winter shore

Outside
The wind was cold
And across our view
Curtains of snow
Fell upon the sea

There are
Christmas lights
Across the bay
That glow twinkle
And then disappear

What does it matter
Now we are old

Apart from kisses
I don’t remember
The gifts we gave

.

Very special and I enjoyed it so much. You are such a talented writer and can say so much such such few words.

A crystal moment can happily bring
gifts to treasure,

a poem is a sigh
a melody of song
a musical lullaby
