The set up of this poem is inspired by the song "Where Have All The Flowers Gone."

WHERE HAVE ALL THE TWINKIES GONE

Where have all the Twinkies gone
Short time passing
Where have all the HoHo's gone
Seems so long ago
Where have all Drake's Coffee Cakes gone
We have eaten them everyone
Oh, when will we ever learn
Oh, When will we learn

Where have all the Devil Dogs gone
Short time passing
Where have all the Donettes gone
Seems so long ago
Where have all the Ding Dongs gone
Snack cakes gone, "Little Debbie" jumps for joy
Oh, when will we ever learn
Oh, when will we learn

Where have all the Funny Bones gone
Short time passing
Where have all the SnoBalls gone
Seems so long ago
Where have all the Zingers gone
Workers striked and wanted more
Hostess said No and closed the door
Oh, when will we ever learn
Oh, when will we learn

Thanks Victoria, glad you got a laugh out of my poem. I'm with you on M&M's, one of my favorites!

haha how great.. isnt it awful, so many things of our youth fading away into the mist.. we'll just have to remember our past i guess through sweet memories..

A true poetic way of putting your finger on the heart of the matter, such are poems by Poets,

enjoyed,

a poem is a sigh
a melody of song
a musical lullaby
