A full moon rises above the woods,
Icy crystals coat the barren branches;
Dormant lie the fields where colors yield to
Monotone and shadows dance a cold wind's tune -
Praise the shelter on such a night as the heat from
Firestone radiates to thaw the frozen bones - yet
Incognito stays the silent visitor as he slips into the
Residence of night and vanishes from wary eye.

A bit of a puzzle for you…form? Should be easy...

I always enjoy your poetry!  You leave a lot to the imagination and I like that, and this, very much.

BluesSerenade - thank you for stopping by and your kind words.

Victoria - The Visitor, eh? Ah, but that is the mystery. It may be anyone or anything, it's up to the reader's imagination.
However, the poem's form is given within the poem itself - just have to look for it. Thank you for visiting and reading.
