Do Opposites Attract? |

They say opposites attract and it made me think. My husband always liked beer when he was younger and I liked anything but mainly wine or a bloody mary. Now we dont drink at all we canceled out each other. He likes watching football and I like watching golf. He likes beef and I like chicken or fish. I always liked baths and he liked showers. Now I take showers like him, only because I pulled a muscle getting out of the tub and I couldnt breathe for an hour. So I was forced into taking showers. He likes brussel sprouts and liver but I wont cook it. I like any vegetable but brussel sprouts and I never liked liver. He likes sausage and I like bacon He would rather eat a hamburger I would rather have a taco. I like pickled beans in my salads and he doesnt. I like croutons and he doesnt. I like all the talent shows on tv X Factor and American Idol The Voice and he doesnt. He drives me crazy watching Antique Road shows and the one from England too. I like it once a week but not all day long. I write poetry and he could care less about it. I like thin crust pizza and he likes the thick. I like the veggie pizza and he doesnt. He doesnt like spices in anything, he always says no basil, no lemon pepper, no paprika no celery salt but I always sneak it in. I eat yogurt but he wont touch it. I dont use cream in my coffee but he does. I only use sugar and he doesnt use sugar. I like Juicy Fruit chicklets but he doesnt chew gum He smokes and I dont. I dont know what I would do if I had someone I was compatible with. I would probably be bored to death. Now that he is retired he has become my chauffeur. I call him James and he calls me Miss Daisy. The obvious answer is: "Of course they do." I think the real question always becomes, is it a healthy attraction? In this case it certainly seems so.  Michael |

yes opposute attracts themselves, i guess like men and women, the poem is very touching and delicate , there are such things , details that create emotions, simple emotions of what life is made of, enjotyed a lot my reading yann |

Thank you Michael for peeking in, yes its healthy except when hes smoking his pipe in the car, cough cough haa. Thank you Yann,Im glad you enjoyed. When we met I was the quiet shy one and he was quite the opposite. |
