TECHNOLOGY GLEE
14  November 2012

Exhilarated,
she deliberated
and planned
and schemed
and did a McGyver
and crafted
her most delicious
database construction
ever
and smiled
the slow,
double-cream,
satisfied
smile
of a Cheshire cat.

Always nice to have that satisfied feeling isnt it? Nice one.

I know EXACTLY how you feel ... I felt the same way when I finished the database for an 'internationally acclaimed' sculptural studio
... especially 'cause (as originally a geologist) I also get to search for clay deposits that the sculptors and potters can use; and, it connects
so directly to my other undergrad. major in the 'fine arts.' Computers, geology, fine arts ... a perfect 'marriage' of interests for me!

An event only made better if it came after previous failures.  Glad you have your masterpiece.

I'm afraid I don't know this feeling, Diana. I'm a total klutz whrn it when it comes to technology.

Giggles, Ida.  It's a delicious, exciting, empowering, uplifting experience - the hassles are frustrating, but when a challenge becomes a solution . . . well, there's nothing to describe it!  However, I don't speak cellphone or any other modern technology - the names of which items I don't even know properly, either - just computer software (as I am not a programmer, but a developer)!
