She Said

There are times
in the early waking hour
I reach for dead to the world
to caress into consciousness
precious moments of affection
I know will be stolen away
by the every morning pain
And in that unaware of my kisses
searching hands
and closeness pressing
I weep
Wishing for one
who would roll over
into a dream
come true

I Said

the whirls of dreamscape smoke
manipulate me unrecognizable
while my mind is clear my body
rides with the wind toward a reward
much sweeter than angels smiles
for my journey is threefold and more
to intercept another's dreamscape
as she reaching for the dead with
searching hands and finding instead
wisps of smoke and more as the smoke
become full with flesh pounding love
as I clasp you tightly, making my
goddess's dream come true in every
sense of the word, together at last

Those kind of dreams are nice. Intercepting another persons dreams, never thought of that. Very creative Jerry.

Thanks, ~V~ for your welcomed and delightful comment. Wouldn't that be something though, to intercept another dreams? I sense the germ of a novel somewhere down the road. I appreciate your thoughts for that.

It's a wonderful thing to be able to make another's dream a reality.  This was beautifully written, Jer.  Brought back some very pleasant memories.

How in the world did I miss the little gem?
You are a hard man to keep up with
Good job my friend (as always)

Jerry the first one is so sad, so achingly evocative!

I like the idea of that...intercepting another's dreams.  Very Cool.
