#6 catching falling words

Even though the top is out of sight,
I  can still see the stars
and I take comfort in knowing
I have not sealed myself away from
Heavenly help.

Forgiving one that has my name
from its lodging
one that is foundation material
that much is weighted upon,
cautiously I start
warily watching for falling words
lest what is supposed to be learned
slips by unnoticed.

Running my hands over it
and over it, I sense anger
in its sharp protruding edges
but even though it bears my name
I do not think
that I am angry,
not with You Lord.
How can I be angry with You
how can I not
forgive
the one Who Is...
the very essence of forgiveness?

So it is me?
It must be me,
I am angry at choices made
and at what they lead to?

I do not want to go forward,
looking back at so many mistakes.

And so the wall.
It keeps me in place.
Safe.

You'll claw through that wall. You don't need that wall. Maybe for awhile you might need it, but you are getting stronger and stronger each and every day, I can feel it.

Sometimes we just over think.I was always fearful of what I guess was sure failure.
But I did a few odd things without even knowing better.I called and made an appointment for a test for my driver's license and I had not yet learned to drive.I did not even realize that was a backward step. Then I called a driving school and took lessons. When the instructor said it was time to make an appointment for my test, I told him I had  already made an appointment for that next week. He was quite surprised. Another time I ordered a lot of toys because I had recieved a catalog from one of those companies that give toy parties. I soon had a visit from the manager of my district and she asked how I recieved the catalog.I explained it came in the mail. Then she scheduled me to go to a few toy partieswith her to learn the ropes. I did it again with out knowing what I was doing. So maybe we over think most times. Both of those mistakes got me to where I wanted to be and I didnot have the time to be afraid. I just took the next step. Not to say I have not been afraid since but I did learn a lot from this and try not to be afraid and just do it. Best to you, jo
