once a week a taxi takes me
for evaluation concerning my loss of memory

every so often I fail to remember . . .
the taxi leaves sad and unfilled

Well if nobody else is gonna jump in here, I will ... I just can't remember what I had to say . . .

Heh.Heh. Gotta love it, J. Thought for sure you'd have mentioned something about the United Cab, a New Orleans fixture.

I will take that word lawl as a compliment, ponderthepoetorrsx, or maybe mysticism. Thank you at any rate.

Enjoyed reading Jerry. Youre have to put in for a wake up call ha. Nice website too.
I noticed there was a town called the Sans Souci in your book. I use to live over a bar when I was a little girl named that too. My father was a bartender in there on the weekends. I always walked in the front door and had to squeeze between the bar door which they always kept open and the cigarette machine to go upstairs to our apt. I hated the smell of beer so I guess thats why I have never liked it to this day ha.

A poem is never finished, only abandoned.

Hah! Yeah you're right, Victoria, a wakeup call is needed, but then I'd probably open my eyes and wonder why I'd set the clock. Heh.Heh Sans Souci came to me because of its meaning, carefree, without worries, which is kinda how the Cajun way of thinking goes. Thank you for stopping by and reading and commenting.

Yep, sometimes it really is, Karen, thanks for reminding me of that.
