blazing from the skyline
burning to the earth
broken are the stones now
thrown up is the dirt

cleaved unto the bedrock
the mountain lies in twain
surging are the deep springs
rushing up to meet the rain

glory for an instant borne
in awe of simple hearts
leaves grieved at last illumined souls
with wisdom to depart

I do love glory given to the gods, so trust I enjoyed this.

I wish there had been more, though.

It read (to me, of course) like a teasing taste plate, served mid-course.

Very pleasing to the palate, though. I hope there shall be more to come.

Nicely done.  The wrath and power of Zeus are beautifully portrayed here.
