Her love for him was authentic
as her Waterford crystal vase
shattered into
a dozen blue forget- me- nots
strangled
by the drought of his kiss
while he made love
to a younger woman
so everytime she
walks by that diamond cut
long stem bud vase
she thinks of him
and she smiles
as she remembers
her question to him
"Do you think she will look as good as me
when she is my age?"
"Probably Not" He said.

Ah, a question and an answer. But in his case I'm sure he wasn't planning on hanging around her that long. There seems to always be another one, with more blond hair and younger.

WoW! I am very happy you finally showed your face. Adorable, bright and cheery smile and as pretty, Victoria, as a picture. (Which it is. Heh.Heh)

A barb well placed, my friend, though mine would probably have pierced much deeper.  Loved the simpleness of the barb, thou...sorta like the third finger salute!!

Good Job!!!
