The night’s sky with its twinkling stars,
I’ve slept under, felt like a Czar.
I propped my feet on the full moon,
It reminded me of cartoons.
The all clear bell has pealed for me,
When I nearly drowned in the dead sea.
Lay awake at night in the dark,
I thought all of my friends were narc's.
I’ve been on my knees; primal thoughts,
I was wound so tight; I was taut.
I walked through hell because of her;
Old Father Death was my chauffer.
Spoke to God, He did not speak back,
I don’t blame Him, I was on smack.
The blood of the lamb I’ve seen drain,
In the frozen Wyoming plains.
I’ve done all that and I’m still here,
I should be resting on my bier.
I’ll wait until I get a clue.
There’s something I know I must do.

You have thoughts left to share and words yet to be written and a heart that still loves in spite of it's self.  Yes, my dear friend you have something to do.

Ah . . . and you know how to give me a boost. Thank you, Lori.
