Seductive skirt of Leaves
burgundy red
invisible stockings dark as the night
tangoing in the breeze
like an Argentine tango
vivid memories
upon the canvas of my soul
radiant passion
airbrushing the affairs
lavender teardrops
of what could have been
flooding the palette
of an insatiable you
as lips of misty condensation
kisses my windowpane
vibrant memories burn into ashes
smokey hue's of moonlight leaves
tangoing beneath my sugar maple tree
lonely Virginia maple
prepares her bed for winter
naked branches
bare as we were back then.
