I'm so sick of who I've been,
I need a change.
I'll shed my skin, toss my outsides on the ground,
show the passers-by my bones.
With my new life I'll stand tall, confident, and beautiful.
This is the real me.
This is me without the frills.
This is me being wonderful inside, too.
I don't want to cover myself up anymore, so I won't!
I'm going to live the most honest way I can until Mother makes me get dressed for the party.
Until then, my bones will smile...

There are 6 months until spring!

I would like to shed mine just now too.  Can be hard to live in an old skin with all the tattooed errors evident in the mirror.
