          'Nowist' Manifesto

Walk beyond the careworn limits
   of the fallen day.
Bathe in the pale-soft moonlight
steaming through this unbounded
    wilderness
of deep mountain-forest serenity.
Be as a gliding leaf on clear water
in the capricious Autumn evening
   wind ...
Leave not a trace of your passing.
Drink of the free, relentless beauty
of Nature's most sublimely precious
   'now' ...
and call only this moment 'home'

How the hell did I miss this?

quote:
Drink of the free, relentless beauty
of Nature's most sublimely precious
   'now' ...
and call only this moment 'home'

Absolutely, Bruce, absolutely. I was also very taken by the first two lines, they, as is oft said, spoke to me.

Another excellent poem for your portfolio.
