   Infinite Stardust dreams

Perhaps sunsets and Autumn
serve to deepen our sorrows
and yet purify the soul,
on such cool-bright moonlit
   nights …
following Summer’s footsteps
   into Fall,
where a billion mystic stars
(linked by these 'endless'
   mountains
to the pathless, untamed sea)
are painted across this
crystalline cosmic canvas
in infinite stardust-dreams
   and memories
of lives and loves gone by.

Written dramatically, purposefully, and of course descriptive as is your claim to fame in my opinion. I, though, do not look at sunsets and Autumn with sorrow. I look at, and think of both sunset and Autumn as merely beauty, one being the end of another day in your life and the other a link between the heat of summer to the cold of winter. I enjoy them both.
