RIVER REVERIE
9 October 2012

Reflections of faces
in the quiet chapters
of the maturing river,
gently ruffled in ripples
spreading bonding circles
outwards
outwards
outwards . . .

Outward into infinity, Owl . . . Faces of yesterday . . . Faces of tomorrow . . .

Hmmm,...Owl, your poem like all the poems, on my monitor, has become a part of the river of dreams and the response reflections become the quiet chapters as the river grows.

Yes, and I sense a bonding, too, as the circles spread outward...and beyond...as I skip a rock...thank you for the inward experience. It works! RV

Thanks, RV, for relating so well to the river of my reverie.  It makes me happy to know that the poem works for you.

Oh, my, I could feel the river and it captured me in the ripples.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Thank you, Vas, for feeling my poem, so clearly.

Thank you, Bruce.  Glad you thought so.
