MUSTANG SALLY Me and my Mustang Oh how I long to ride Running wild and free My heartbeat quickening inside As we race down a country road The wind whipping thru my hair I feel your power beneath me As we fly thru the air Kicking up a cloud of dust As we swiftly round the bend Then picking up speed To go around again Oh what a wild ride I feel so carefree Me and my Mustang My blue and silver GT [This message has been edited by katahdin (10-08-2012 08:55 PM).] |

Kat, I was galloping alongside you on Flicka my beloved horse who is now in Heaven - and then, giggles, got to your dénouement - and discovered that your mustang was just a car. OK, don't hit me, I am sure it is a beautiful car, especially with a name like that (reminded me of my 1981 sportscar-red MG so many years ago which I almost always drove with the soft top down - except in the rain in winter, lol), but you must admit, a horse is even better than the best of cars!
