She had a penny in the seam of her jeans
under a small moon
there came a time
when she brought her fair skin
towards a shadows bridge
and lit the small ponds calming water

A penny in her jeans
a rosebud
Sophie had a soft written note
across the cream of her jaw

Soft in the walk of a distant stare
Sophie had the tears of wine beside her
in the small corner next to to the streets empty stare.
